Police Release Photos, Seek Suspect in Armed Robbery

Charlottesville Police have released surveillance photographs from a grocery store robbed at gunpoint two weeks ago and are seeking the public's help in identifying the suspect.

Police say on Jan. 26, a man entered the Food Master convenience store on Ridge Street and demanded money from the cashier. The suspect had a gun.

The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police ask anyone with information about the suspect in the photographs to call Crime Stoppers at 434-977-4000.
