Albemarle County Police put out a statement Tuesday, saying that they know the identities of everyone involved in the possible abduction of a 16-year-old girl from the Dunlora neighborhood.
They add that its now a matter of determining exactly what crimes occurred so that proper charges can be brought.
The release also had a statement for the community as a whole, saying, "...that the incident was not a random act and the parties involved were not unknown to each other."
The girl, a student at Albemarle High School, disappeared Friday night, October 18, while taking pictures near her bus stop. Her parents found her phone laying outside around 11pm.
She was found walking on Rio Road around 10 the next morning by a neighbor driving by. She was immediately returned home.
