New search warrants reveal where Albemarle County police want to search as the investigation into forcible sodomy charges against Albemarle County Supervisor Christopher Dumler continues. Papers filed earlier in November in Albemarle County Circuit Court show police want to search Dumler's laptop computer, county-issued I-pad, cell phone, and Facebook account. Police are specifically interested in searching videos and photographs stored on Dumler's electronic devices, along with his contact list, emails, text messages, and Internet search history. During a hearing last week, Dumler's defense team asked a judge to limit the search, calling it a "fishing expedition" and asking for Dumler's I-pad to be returned to him.
