Pool Party Held to Raise Money for Children with Neuroblastoma

Aug. 18, 2014

Kids and parents had quite a bit of fun Saturday, Aug. 16, at the 6th Annual Splash for A Cure in partnership with ACAC Water Park.

The pool party raised money in support of families with children who suffer from neuroblastoma. The Ishan Gala Foundation and this event were created after cancer hit home for Mayank Gala and his wife.

"We started the foundation in memory of losing our first son Ishan, and this was one of his favorite places to come to and hang out," said Mayank Gala." We built this event around what would have been his birthday to celebrate his life and also raise money for kids’ cancer."

The Ishan Gala Foundation raises an average of $20,000 to $30,000 each year to fight pediatric cancer.
