A big crowd filled Charlottesville's Wild Wing Cafe for Super Bowl XLVII. Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers fans were both confident their teams would come out on top.
Lance Truslow wore a Redskins jersey to the restaurant, but he was cheering for the 49ers.
"It's been a slow start, but the defense always shows up," said Truslow.
"I feel really good about the Ravens. I'm a season ticket holder," said Ravens fan Jim Valentic.
Valentic said although he's a big Ravens fan, it's thousands of dollars cheaper to the watch the game on television.
The crowd at Wild Wing Cafe, filled with mostly Ravens fans, went wild after every score as the Ravens led in the first half of the game.
"This is Ravens game. It's in the history books, they'll probably win by 14 but it's a done deal," said Valentic.
"Honestly I don't think the momentum is coming back. They are going to have to get a big turnover and capitalize," said Truslow.
The blackout during the third quarter of the game at the Mercedes Benz Superdome may have been caused by one fan inside the cafe.
"Here's the deal,' Valentic explained. "I turned the lights off with my app on my phone. I thought the 49ers needed to regroup. I'll let you know when I turn it back on."
The Ravens won the Superbowl XLVII, 34-31.
