Realtors Discuss Albemarle Co. Housing Market

Sept. 19, 2013

Realtors gathered Thursday morning at the Double Tree Hotel in Albemarle County, where they talked about the current market and ways to embrace new tools to make the home buying process more efficient.

New figures show a 25 percent increase in home sales, year over year, for August.

Experts are keeping a close eye on the budget talks in Washington, DC, which could have a negative impact on the real estate market.

Realtors say homes in Central Virginia are staying on the market for a shorter amount of time.
