The road to victory has come to a sudden end for the Washington Redskins after a 24-14 loss to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC wildcard game.
"Being a realistic Redskins fan, I knew the game was going to be close," said Redskins fan Tim McFillin.
The excitement inside of Boylan Heights, the location of the official watch party, filled the restaurant and bar as the Redskins pulled ahead in the first half of the game.
"I like watching them more. I am rooting for the Redskins, of course. I think the Redskins have come together as a family. Ever since we've gotten together this seven game win streak," said Redskins fan Harrison Clement.
Fans say they owe that winning streak to a great new lineup.
"I'm pretty confident. I'm a little nervous just because we haven't been in the playoffs for so long. I really like our team this year. Alfred Morris already looks good. I'm hoping he could bring it through for us," said Redskins fan Thomas Bell.
Confidence started to fade in the fourth quarter as the Seahawks took the lead and RG3 injured his knee.
"RG3 at 20 percent is better than any other option we have at a 120 percent," said McFillin. "You got to keep him in there no matter how banged up he is, and he's a trooper. But it's rough to see him go down that way."
Fans say thought the run for the Super Bowl is over, their love for the team wont die.
