Redskins' Winning Streak Leads to Business Boom

January 6, 2013

The Washington Redskins' winning streak is leading to a business boom in Charlottesville.

One local clothing store manager said Redskins jerseys are flying off the shelves. He said the player who's sold the most jerseys is Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III.

"Ever since they started winning, the sales rise," said Joshua Ross, the manager of B&C Sports. "There is no question about it. RG3 and Alfred Morris and all. The team is playing well. As they play well, sales continue to grow."

The Redskins take on the Seattle Seahawks at 4:30 p.m. Sunday on WAHU FOX27.
