Report: Home Prices in Charlottesville Increase Year Over Year

New data from CoreLogic shows home prices in the City of Charlottesville rose by 3.8 percent in September of this year compared to this same time last year.

On a month-over-month basis, home prices decreased by 1.9 percent in September 2013 compared to August 2013.

Corelogic reports that national home prices increased by 12 percent in September 2013 compared to September 2012, making this the 19th month in a row that year-over-year national home prices have gone up.

On a month-over-month basis, national home prices increased by 0.2 percent from September 2013 to September 2013.

Corelogic data indicates October 2013 home prices are expected to rise by 12.5 percent on a year-over-year basis.
