How do you think the City of Charlottesville should spend tax money? That's the question City officials are asking residents.
In an online poll posted to the City's website, citizens were asked to vote on what they feel is Charlottesville's greatest infrastructure need in the next five years.
The options include: Bridges, Sewers, Roads, Storm Water, Bike Paths, Trails, Sidewalks, Water System, Water Supply.
Of the 228 votes cast as of 5pm Tuesday, the people feel bike paths (21%) are the City's number one infrastructure need, followed closely by roads (20%) and bridges (16%). Walking trails (6%) and the water system (5%) bottomed out the list.
Don't agree with the results? Residents have until Monday, May 2 to vote on the issue. City Council will hear the results at their meeting that night.
