Less than a week after announcing the concert, and just days before tickets were slated to go on sale, CBS19 is getting word that the Rod Stewart and Santana concert at John Paul Jones Arena is cancelled.

The websites for both artists no longer show the Charlottesville show on their tour schedule. The event is also no longer listed on John Paul Jones Arena's website.

Both artists do still show concerts on their schedule, so it appears as if the tour has not been cancelled, just the Charlottesville concert.

There is no word on what led to the apparent cancellation.
