You might see some creative looking cats and dogs around town all for a fundraiser to help the SPCA.

For the second year in a row, 12 cat and dog statues will welcome you at storefronts around Charlottesville.

Buying a $10 raffle ticket at those storefronts to win one of the statues will go toward medical care for animals at the local SPCA.

The partnership brings support to both local artists and businesses all to help the animals that need it the most.

Lynne Goldman is an participating artist and business owner for the second year in a row.

"I'm so happy to do this again for the SPCA and we hope that everybody comes out to buy a raffle ticket because then they can own it themselves and you can have this outside, it's a beautiful greeting for your front door," Goldman said.

Statues will be at their respective shops until June 29 when the raffle winners will be drawn.
