SPCA Offering Free Spaying, Neutering for Cats

April 10, 204

The Charlottesville-Albemarle SPCA is inviting all Charlottesville and Albemarle County residents to bring in their cats for free spaying or neutering.

The promotion is called, "I Don't Wanna be a Momma," and it runs now through Mother's Day. Male and female cats are welcome. And they will do procedures for house pets as well as feral or roaming cats.

The service also comes with a free rabies vaccine and pain medication for the animals.

SPCA workers say appointments will fill up quickly. To make an appointment, you can call (434) 964-3333, or visit caspca.org.
