The local Salvation Army is preparing for its big Thanksgiving meal Thursday.
The organization is planning to serve as many as 200 people tomorrow. Today though, in preparation for the big day, over a dozen workers were hard at work cooking the big meal.
The Salvation Army says normally there is not a problem finding people to help out around the holidays.
Barbara Bellamy, the Kitchen Supervisor says, "they really appreciate this, because a lot of people are homeless and they don't have any family here, and they are so grateful to come here to have a hot meal."
Workers started cooking for Thanksgiving on Monday.
