About 300 people gathered around the Christmas tree at Keswick Hall for the annual tree lighting Sunday evening.
After arriving in a horse-drawn carriage, Santa lit the massive tree with one touch as the crowd looked on.
After the feat, Santa got to relax and mingle with all the kids.
"I think that's the best part. That's why we do it," said Rick Butts, the general manager of Keswick Hall. "We have a lot of club members here, too, that have small kids and they look forward to that tradition."
The crowd was also treated to carols by the Jeffersonland Chorus.
Butts says all of the lights and decorations take months of planning.
This is the eighth year of the event.
