We are two weeks away from Christmas and soon Santa Claus will be making his rounds to all of the nice and naughty children around the world.
For many in Albemarle County they still don't know what they want for Christmas, but a few kids have their minds made up.
Owen Taylor wants Imaginex toys and asked Santa for an Imaginex castle and city.
Three-year-old Caitlynn McGraw wants to sing and asked Santa for a microphone.
Some kept their wishes simple, while others had wishes on a more global scale.
"For Christmas I asked for love and peace all over the world," says Kathryn Peyron.
Santa's lap was open to people of all ages at the Fashion Square Mall. He heard all of their wishes and even read their letters.
"It's the dollies, Transformers, Legos, all of the fun stuff," says Santa Claus. "There’s Thomas the Train, things like that."
The kids asked for toys, but for adults, they wanted more than an action figure.
"Adults come in they like to talk, but their asking for cars, Beamers, a Cadillac, stuff like that," laughed Mr. Claus. "Santa can't do all of that, but it's fun."
Santa has been making his list and checking it twice, but he's not sure he can get everything people ask for this Christmas.
Madison Renick wants a little sister. Santa doesn't know if he can work his magic and bring her one, but if she's on the nice list I'm sure she will get a surprise this Christmas.
