Not every child can spend the holiday season at home with their family, so Santa paid a special visit to little ones who are spending their holidays in the hospital.
Santa brought gifts to children at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the University of Virginia Medical Center on Monday.
He visited a baby named Tyler, who was born 17 weeks premature.
"It's great that they do this," said Stephanie Ceccherini, Tyler's mother. "We couldn't really pick him up and have him out with Santa or anything like that, but it's nice that they do these kinds of things for us."
Tyler was just one of the children Santa claus visited.
