Shots Fired During Early-Morning Fight

An early-morning fight outside of a Charlottesville restaurant sent two men to the hospital and landed one in police custody.

Charlottesville police say around 1:30 a.m., a disorder involving about 20 people broke out in the parking lot of Buffalo Wild Wings in Charlottesville.

Shots were fired, but no one was hit.

Two 22-year-old men, one from Charlottesville and one from Albemarle County, were sent to UVa. Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. One of the men was stabbed in the lower torso while the other received lacerations to his face.

One victim is in stable condition. The status of the other male is not known at this time.

Police arrested 22-year-old Antwan Chambers following the fight.

Chambers is charged with reckless use of a firearm, possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled substance and underage possession of alcohol.
