People in Central Virginia woke up Thursday morning to a layer of snow. Snow totals varied from a dusting to three inches.
All public schools and several private schools cancelled classes for the day because of the possibility of slick conditions.
According to VDOT, primary roads are mostly in good condition with the exception of some slick spots. Plow crews are still treating secondary roads. Drivers are urged to slow down and be cautious of slick conditions.
