Driving down Fox Hollow Lane in Fluvanna County on Tuesday, there were no signs of anything except heavy rain.
But when you reached the end of the street, you can see the storm damage.
The Fluvanna County Sheriff said a 911 call came in around 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, from a man inside his house. He said the storms were tearing off the roof of his home.
Rescue crews quickly responded, and fortunately, no one was injured.
Workers spent the rest of the afternoon putting tarps on the gaps inside the house to prevent further damage.
Insurance agents and the Red Cross were also on scene.
The sheriff says he's in touch with state and federal authorities to see if anything more than strong winds may have caused the damage.
