Students Celebrate Grandparents' Day at Tandem

April 25, 2014

Tandem Friends School celebrated their annual Grandparents’ Day Friday morning.

Grandparents and special friends of the school were asked to come out and spend the day with students and get the chance to learn a little more about the school.

There were musical performances by students. Sixth-graders also put on a special performance of "Fiddler on the Roof".

"Tandem has always prided itself on being a real family oriented community school, and often the grandparents who might live further afield don't necessarily have a chance to share in their grandchildren's education. So giving them that opportunity every spring is important," said Andy Jones Wilkins, Head of the School.

Founders of the school were also honored during the day's event.
