Students at Venable Elementary School got a crash course in engineering on Friday.
With help from some mechanical aerospace engineers from the University of Virginia, the students they recreated the mars rover and igloos out of LEGO blocks.
They also learned how a wind turbine works by using solo cups and duct tape.
The program worked with fourth-graders at Venable.
