Suicide Named as Cause of Death of Person Found in Woods

A body found in a wooded area behind homes in Albemarle County has been called a suicide, police say.

Police and fire rescue crews responded to the scene in the Foxcroft neighborhood in Albemarle County, just off Southern Parkway and Foxvale Lane.

Police brought the body from the heavily wooded area to a waiting ambulance and later said the cause of death was suicide.
