Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia came to UVa on Thursday to talk to students at Newcomb Hall.
His speech started at 5:30 in front of a packed room, in fact some students and visitors had to be turned away.
We talked to several students who said that, even though they may or may not agree with him, it was still important for to come hear him talk.
"You get an impression by their writing, but, you know, it's always cool to get to see him in person." said UVa law student Patrick Sanford.
"The reason I'm here today is to show that even if I have opposing views I think it's important to go see him and and see him speak." said 3rd year student Tyrec Grooms
Justice Scalia is currently the longest serving justice on the Supreme Court
