The man responsible for a nine hour standoff in Fluvanna County now faces additional charges.
James Kardos now faces charges of shooting a gun inside a home,and resisting arrest.
He also faces charges in Charlottesville for allegedly assaulting a woman in the city, before the standoff.
The standoff happened Friday night at the home of Kardos' father in the Lake Monticello neighborhood.
Police evacuated the neighborhood and spend nine hours negotiating with Kardos.
Just after midnight, police stormed the house and took Kardos into custody without any complications.
