Teen Struck by Vehicle After Falling Off Skateboard

A 17-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle Sunday night after stumbling off his skateboard.

Virginia State Police responded to an accident in the 4700 block of Celts Road in Greene County. They say the teen stumbled off his skateboard into an oncoming vehicle.

He was air-lifted to the University of Virginia Medical Center where he remained overnight Sunday. He is listed in critical but stable condition.

No citations were issued to the driver.
