The Thomas Jefferson Partnership for Economic Development launched their new name and brand today.
The partnership helps create new jobs and investment opportunites for Charlottesville and seven counties in the surrounding area.
Leaders from Central Virginia came out to support the new brand.
"We are really happy that this area is coming together," says Virginia Secretary of Commerce and Trade Jim Cheng. "It's all about partnerships, it's all about regionalism and working together for economic development."
"This great new re-branding will help us market this area so much better." Cheng added.
The new name is The Central Virginia Partnership for Economic Development and the tagline reads "Bold ventures begin here."
