U.S. Senate candidate Tim Kaine made a stop to see supporters at his Albemarle County Victory Office. He thanked them for their support.
Kaine says as the former mayor of Richmond and governor of Virginia he's worked across party lines. He plans to keep that momentum going if elected to the senate.
"I will always be able to be a good partner with the president. Similarly with my experience working with a Republican speaker when I was governor and trying to work together to solve tough challenges, that should give me a good experience to take into a Senate," said Kaine.
Kaine is running against republican George Allen.
