Tom Tom Founders Festival announced the lineup of its third spring festival.
The lineup for the 2014 Spring festival includes more than 60 concerts, 5 block parties, public murals, and a design marathon. Most events are free.
Tom Tom is a festival of music, art, and innovation in Charlottesville.
With its combination of work and play Tom Tom aims to show that small cities like Charlottesville foster world-class growth and ideas.
"During the day, there's talks, there's panels, there's creative ideas being explored. And then at night, people come out and there's concerts and block parties and pitch competitions and people can really just have fun. So, it's this really cool blend of both intellectual creativity and cultural creativity," said director of the Tom Tom Founders Festival Paul Beyer.
The announcement took place at the Old Met on the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville.
The festival will take place April 9-13.
