Delegate David J. Toscano will hold a telephone town hall from his Richmond offices on Thursday, Feb. 10 from 7-8pm. He will discuss the progress of legislation in the General Assembly at the halfway point of the 2011 session and will field questions from constituents.

Some 20,000 voters in the 57th district will receive an automated telephone call a short time before the start of the event to invite them to join the forum. Constituents are encouraged to sign up at Delegate Toscano’s website to ensure that they will receive the invitation call.

“This is the first time we have tried a tele-town hall, and I hope that it provides an opportunity for many of my constituents to express their concerns about ongoing legislation and budget actions.” said Delegate Toscano.

Michael Cassidy, President and CEO of the Commonwealth Institute for Fiscal Analysis, will also be on the call to provide expert insight into current budget and policy issues.
