CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) - Charlottesville is the first stop for a statewide tour aimed at promoting a support network for entrepreneurial ventures in Virginia.
The tour promoting Startup Virginia kicks off Monday morning in the Darden Innovation Laboratory at the University of Virginia. It's the first of six events scheduled across the state.
Monday's event includes a panel discussion on Charlottesville's emergency as an entrepreneurial hub. Also, U.Va. students will pitch innovative business concepts.
The Startup America Partnership founded Startup Virginia earlier this year.
