About a hundred people showed up for the "Hot Air Affair" at Trump Winery but the wind forced folks to admire the fall foliage from the ground Sunday.
The plan was to soar above the vines and estate to take in all the colorful trees in a hot air balloon, but the weather put a stop to that. People still got to hop in the basket to take pictures and see what it's like being inside a hot air balloon.
Rick Behr, owner of Boar's Head Ballooning, says it's prime time to see the trees from the sky.
"This is the peak. This will be the peak week, folks. I mean, if you've ever wanted to go for a balloon ride, this week is the week to do it," Behr said. "And it looks like pretty good weather for most of it. The colors are going to peak."
Once the leaves hit their peak, Behr says there will be about four to five days to take them in at their most colorful.
