Republican U.S. Senate Candidate George Allen visited Central Virginia Friday.
During his visit he met with small business owners and talked about his pro-growth plan.
Some of the elements in his plan is to make America competitive for job creators and to reduce federal taxes on job creating businesses.
"I'm confident that we have Republicans unified, but its more than that, what's most encouraging are independents and even a few democrats who are on our side," said Allen.
Allen says he has collected a little more than $1 million in the final three months of last year for his campaign.
The election is November 6.
