UVa Again Offering Free Online Courses

August 21, 2013

The University of Virginia is planning to offer 11 new non-credit online courses during the upcoming school year.

These massive, open, online courses began last summer, and serve as a way for UVa to expand its offerings.

This year's courses, called "MOOCs," range from business school offerings to education and political courses.

MOOCs are free and open to everyone, not just UVa students.

The University offers these courses through it partnership with online platform, Coursera.
