The University of Virginia's Emily Couric Cancer center received top honors on Friday.
Becker's Hospital Review selected the Cancer Center at UVa. as one of its top "100 Hospitals and Health Systems with Great Oncology Programs."
The center was recognized for its staff's high quality care and utilizing breakthrough treatment.
“The oncology programs noted by Becker’s Hospital Review are just a few of the many high-quality cancer programs available to patients at UVA Cancer Center, “ says Dr. Reid Adams, MD, FACS, Director Clinical Cancer Services. “This recognition is a tribute to the outstanding commitment by staff who provide cutting-edge research and patient focused care.”
The Emily Couric Cancer Center was one of two oncology programs in Virginia listed in the review.
