UVa. Creating Task Force to Review Mailing Mistake

July 23, 2013

The University of Virginia is creating a task force following the mailing out of thousands of student Social Security numbers.

The task force will review the university's policies and procedures to make sure personal information is protected in the future.

Last week, UVa announced that student Social Security numbers had been accidentally printed on address labels, and then mailed out on student health insurance brochures.
