UVa has been named the "Best Value" of any public college in the nation.
Princeton Review released its list Tuesday and the University of Virginia has been awarded the top spot.
UVa is ranked high partly because its tuition has been rising much more slowly than other schools.
“The University of Virginia has earned its reputation for quality and affordability,” UVa President Teresa A. Sullivan said. “The recognition is appreciated and deserved. It reflects the quality and dedication of our faculty and the success of those who manage our finances and operations.”
The university also offers generous financial aid to those in need.
