The $40 million lawsuit filed against the Virginia ABC by a University of Virginia student is headed to federal court.
Elizabeth Daly filed the suit after she was arrested following a botched ABC sting in Charlottesville.
According to the Richmond Times Dispatch, the state Attorney General's office thinks some issues would be better handled in the federal court.
Judge Henry Hudson will oversee the case, and his court is often called "the rocket docket" meaning the suit could move very quickly.
