A new exhibit at CitySpace features the work of several different artists, all of which have some kind of disability.
Artists from Charlottesville-Albemarle VSA filled 13 panels with artwork in the gallery, which is on display until the end of July.
The artists will host an opening at CitySpace from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday July 5. The event is free and open to the public.
"I know our artists are going to be there for First Fridays, and they enjoy seeing people see their art and having the opportunity to interact with people seeing their art," said VSA volunteer Mary Miller.
Some of the pieces at the art show are available to purchase.
The display features work by artists from JABA's Adult Care Center, Alzheimer's Association Arts Fusion Program, Post High, Woodrow Wilson Rehab Center as well as John T. Trippel, Elizabeth Locke Ryan, Robin Hoffman, Romney Brand, Chris Wharam and photographer Justin Connor.
The gallery is available for view Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. until July 28.
