NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - A 33-year-old Virginia Beach man faces up to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to charges related to distributing synthetic marijuana.

The government says Robert Charles Beatty was distributing drugs labeled "Scooby Snacks," ''Fairly Legal" and other names from his residence in the resort city. Investigators said they seized more than 60 kilograms of synthetic marijuana last summer from Beatty's residence.

Synthetic marijuana blends, commonly sold as "Spice" and "K2," are labeled as incense or potpourri. The chemicals are sprayed onto herbs and spices and sold for at least $10 per gram.

Prosecutors said Beatty entered his guilty plea Wednesday in Norfolk. His sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 6.
