Va. Republican Candidates Campaign in Roanoke

May 20, 2013

Virginia's Republican candidates crisscrossed the Commonwealth on Monday.

Gubernatorial candidate Ken Cuccinelli was joined by EW Jackson and Mark Obenshain for the trip.

Cuccinelli pushed for job growth and reaching out to the other parties to a crowd gathered at the airport in Roanoke.

"We've got to reach independents and conservative Democrats. There are a lot of people who agree with our emphasis on job creation and letting it happen in the private sector, not having government dictate it all."

The group is scheduled to make stops in Lynchburg and Charlottesville on Tuesday.
