The Virginia Glee Club has been a Charlottesville tradition for 73 years and they are continuing that tradition tonight.
The University Baptist Church was packed as families, students and fans showed up to celebrate the holiday season with traditional and unique renditions of some of your holiday favorites. The Virginia Gentlemen, UVA's oldest a capella group, also shared in the spotlight with their own versions of some popular current songs.
Glee Club members themselves were thrilled about the turnout. Jordan Stillman, club president, says it's especially exciting to be able to give back to the community through songs.
Whether it was the Virginia Glee Club's own holiday pieces or Traditional pieces there was music to delight every ear.
Besides getting to take home the memory of listening to the voices of the Glee Club attendees were also able to purchase CD's along with other merchandise, just one way to help keep this tradition going for years and years.
