Virginia Political Season Officially Underway

The political season throughout Virginia is officially underway, as Monday marks the day candidates can formally file paperwork to run for elected office.

For the primary race, the order by which candidates appear on the primary ballot is based on the order candidates file.

The party primaries will be held June 11. Candidates have until March 28 at 5 p.m. to submit all the official paperwork.
