The veteran support group Warrior Aviation and Trump Winery are hosting a gala on Saturday, October 5 to benefit wounded veterans.

The gala begins at 6pm on the dot, and will feature dinner, live music and an auction. But the main event will be provided by Warrior Aviation, which will do a fly over in one of their L-39 jets, the VANDY 1

Gary Velasco with Warrior Aviation says they like holding events like this to not only help veterans, but to get them involved.

"A lot of these guys don't want to sit around and feel bad for themselves or have other people feel bad. They want to get back out there, they want to feel normal, some sense of normalcy back again. So we'll help that, in that aspect for them to get back on their feet again."

Funds raised at the gala will go towards scholarships and job placement for wounded veterans.
