The annual “Downtown Safe Halloween” event will take place as scheduled Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. However, due to weather the event has been moved to the Key Recreation Center located at 800 E. Market St.
The family-friendly Halloween themed event features games, face painting, pumpkins a costume contest and much more. The event concludes with safe trick or treating on the downtown mall at participating stores.
Participants interested in the costume contest should arrive early because the contest will begin promptly at 2:30 p.m.
2pm – 4:30pm: Bounces, game, pumpkins and face painting
2:30pm – 3pm: Costume contest under the pavilion
4:30pm – 5pm: Safe trick or treating on the downtown mall
