Westminster Canterbury Employee Charged with Stealing Items from Residents

A Charlottesville man is arrested for stealing from residents of Westminster Canterbury.

24-year-old Howard Jamar Carey is charged with felony breaking and entering, and ten counts of felony grand larceny.

Albemarle County officers say Carey was an employee at Westminster Canterbury at the time. They say he stole and then sold more than $25,000 worth of jewelry.

Carey has been released from jail on a $15,000 bond
