What's Going Around: Respiratory Syncytial Virus(RSV)

This week a respiratory virus known as RSV is going around. Doctor Paige Nolte of Palmyra Medical Associates says Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) can be seen in adults as well as children.

Symptoms include those of a common cold in older children and adults. In infants, you may notice a fever, wheezing and ear infections.

Dr. Nolte says the best way to treat RSV is with supportive care, oxygen if needed and breathing treatments.
