Celebrity White House gate crasher Tareq Salahi has filed a $50 million lawsuit against his wife, alleging that she had an affair with Journey guitarist Neil Schon as part of a calculated attempt to make money for herself, the musician and band at his expense.
The lawsuit filed Monday in Warren County Circuit Court alleges that Michaele Salahi's actions have "physically, emotionally and financially" ruined him. He accuses her of running away with Schon in mid-September and "campaigning to show him as a buffoon with respect to that affair and humiliating him."
Also named as defendants are Nomota Inc., Journey's business name, and DD Entertainment LLC, publicist and agent for the Salahis, according to the Northern Virginia Daily.
Lawyers for both Salahis have declined to comment.
