The Paramount Theater crowned the winner of its own version of American Idol.

Erin Lunsford won the second year of Paramount Idol.

Around 200 singers tried out for this year's contest. Ten contestants sang in front of a final celebrity judge panel. They competed for a one thousand dollar prize, a professional consultation with Red Light Management, and a professional demo tape.

Lunsford says the work was worth it.

"It feels so good. It was such a fun process and it's such huge relief. I was like so nervous today but it was so much fun," said Lunsford.

Last year's winner, Jennifer Stuart, came back and sang. Tara Wheeler returned to hosted the event.

Frank Song won second place.
