A wintry weather storm has left more than 114,000 customers in Virginia without electricity.
More than 85,000 Dominion Virginia Power customers didn't have electricity as of 10:30 a.m. Monday, including 71,245 customers in Northern Virginia.
As of 11 a.m., over one-thousand Dominion customers in Albemarle County are in the dark.
Dominion says there are more than 5,400 outages in the Richmond metro area and about 5,700 in the Shenandoah Valley-Western Piedmont region.
Appalachian Power reports about 7,900 outages, including more than 2,200 in Campbell County.
Rappahannock Electric Cooperative reports 12,862 of its customers are without power as of 11:12 a.m.
More than 21,000 outages have been reported by Virginia's electric cooperatives.
